Eligibility Requirements

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the UNM Main Campus at the time of application and in the term prior to exchange
• Must have completed at least 24 hours of college credit prior to exchange
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale) at the home campus
• Must be an undergraduate student
• Must be in good standing (academic, financial, and social/behavioral) as defined by the home institution

Academic Eligibility

• Must not have any deficiencies in academic requirements that would jeopardize status (e.g., not having completed and passed required proficiency exams)
• Must not have any course work for which grades are still pending beyond currently registered courses (e.g., incompletes from prior terms)
• Must not be on, or have pending, any probationary status due to academic dishonesty or misconduct (e.g., cheating, submitting false information, illegal possession of an examination)

Financial Eligibility

• Must not have any outstanding indebtedness to the home institution

Social Behavioral Eligibility

• Must not be on, or have pending, any probationary or disciplinary status due to personal behavior
• Must not have any legal judgments pending
• Must be able to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility
